Prior to having Lane, at a stake conference, President Robison mention that every member should find a small area of land and plant a garden. Since then we have been planting away. This is the lettuce we have grown. However, we planted too much lettuce. We ended up throwing away quite a bit. We also grew spinach, carrots and beets. However, neither Rodney nor I have ever eaten a beet and still haven't. We ended up trashing them as well. We let them grow too long and the beets looked a little scary when we finally plucked them.

The Fruits of our Labors!

I know they say you should have a garden but I just HATE to garden. Seeing your pretty lettuce was inspiring though!
