This was mine and Rodney's first ML Baseball game together. Since Rodney served his mission in Denver and the rockies are in the National League and not the American League. I decided it was okay to root for the rockies. Since my White sox did not go to the playoffs this year. We bought tickets to 2 of the final playoff games for the Rockies. The first one was terrible it was freezing the temperature was 26 degrees plus they lost. Then the next day the Rockies had to win that game to continue on. It was a rather slow game till the 6th inning when the rockies came back from a 3 run deficit and pulled ahead. The crown went crazy. The rockies ended up losing to the Phillies that night. As Dad would say, " Going home for the holidays!" All in all it was a wonderful vacation for Rodney and I. One of my favorite parts was to sing Root, Root Root for the home team, if they don't win it's a shame, for it's 1 2 3 strikes you are out at the old ball game. As a young girl I remember sitting on my fathers bed watching the White Sox play and he would start singing that song. I sure wish Dad and I could have going to a ball game.

The new pictures of the boys are so cute! I can't believe how big they have gotten. Stuart and I love going to baseball games together!
Hi Teresa,
Sister Humes said I should take a break and look at your blog. Your family is just awesome! The little guys are just so handsome.
I watched a few games like you did with your dad on the television. Nothing was better than when they played the Yankees! I am so glad you have that memory of him singing for the seventh inning stretch. I love you guys,
Elder Humes
