I am a mother of 3 small boys who try my patients every second, I have a wonderful husband who yes ( drum roll please) I fight with frequently. I am in school trying to complete my education but in reality is it ever done. On more than one occasion a day I find myself crying over something I did or said to my children. I forget to visit teach more than I remember to. I judge when I know I should not. I struggle with how I feel verses how I know I should feel. I have ask many times" have you forgotten me"
The point to this is I am not depressed, unhappy or dissatisfied with my life. I am simply in the same boat as most of my readers are. I am going to be very real from here on out. I love my life and have a lot to learn but I refuse to continue to keep silent. Feel free to comment on any of it.
In closing I will say what I would say to a friend that said all of this post to me, " Cut yourself a break." Does anyone say to themselves after meeting their precious baby for the first time, " I think I am going to go mediocre on this one," cut yourself a break and remember they don't come with a manual.

I love this! I do think a lot of blogs are all about the happy stuff, but I follow a bunch of blogs (linked under the "My Other Favorites" on my blog) that are more real. They tell the good and bad.
I do blog about when my kids drive me nuts, mostly because I want advice on what other mothers have done. The main reason I read other blogs is to get ideas on mothering, what other moms have done, and what works/doesn't work for them.
I love reading blogs that are real because then I don't feel so alone. So write on! I'm excited to hear all about it and we can learn from each other. And if nothing else, at least we know we're not in this "not perfect" boat together!!! :)
Great post! Sometimes it is hard to see that your crazy life is unfortunately normal. Being able to cope with it is a feat though at times.
I read a really interesting blog post a while back about how we only post the perfect stuff on our blogs. We edit pictures, cropping out the mess in our homes. Or we only take pictures of our kids when the house is clean and so are their faces.
I read blogs that share people's true feelings and people that only share the good stuff, but when I only read about the good stuff I know there are things they aren't sharing (which is fine too).
I miss you guys. Teresa, you always give me something good to think about and analyze. Just remember when you're having a harder day, you have always accomplished something, and when it gets too hard don't forget to pray:)
I love the quote at the end. Thanks, Teresa. Great post, we all have something in common don't we?:)
My favorite scripture quote is, "To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under heaven." Ecclesiastes 3:1
I totally used it thinking about motherhood. Its hard when all your kids are small and you feel like your slowly drowning but to realize that that is your season right now in life. Soak in the good days and forget about the bad ones knowing that EVERYONE has or is going through that same thing. Love ya!
